2. When these terms apply
These terms apply to the trial, the licenses and the use of Aivie Content, the extension for Umbraco.
The general terms and conditions of ipsis (in Dutch) also apply. If the two conflict, these terms take precedence. Your own general terms and conditions do not apply.
Aivie Content is intended for businesses and organisations, not for consumers. [bevestigen]
3. Trial
You install Aivie Content for free via the Umbraco Marketplace and use it for 14 days, with the limits shown in the backoffice. You don't need a license key or payment details.
After 14 days the trial ends automatically. To continue, you request a license. Your settings and content are kept.
4. License
A license gives you the right to use Aivie Content on one website: the live domain plus one staging or test environment. Development domains such as localhost don't need a license.
The right of use is non-exclusive and non-transferable. You may not resell Aivie Content, circumvent the license check or decompile the software, except where the law allows it.
All rights to the software remain with ipsis.
5. Price and payment
You pay per website per month. The price is the price shown on aivie.nl when you requested the license, excluding VAT.
We invoice monthly in advance; the payment term is 14 days. [bevestigen]
We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
6. Term and cancellation
A license runs per month and can be cancelled monthly, effective at the end of the current month. [bevestigen]
To cancel, email info@ipsis.nl. When your license ends, Aivie Content stops working on that website; the content you created with it simply stays in your own Umbraco.
7. AI and your content
Aivie Content works with the AI provider you connect yourself. Your texts go directly from your own server to that provider, under that provider's terms. The provider's costs are yours.
Suggestions from the AI may contain errors. You review them and decide what to publish, and you are responsible for the content on your website.
ipsis claims no rights to your content.
8. Partners
If you are an Umbraco partner, you manage the licenses for your client sites under one account and invoice your clients yourself. You make sure your clients know these terms. For a partner agreement, get in touch.
9. Support and updates
A license includes updates and support. Support is available on working days via servicedesk@ipsis.nl.
Aivie Content works with Umbraco 17 and higher. We do our best to keep the extension working well, but we cannot guarantee that it will always work without errors or interruptions.
10. Liability
The liability of ipsis is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the three months before the damage occurred. [bevestigen]
ipsis is not liable for indirect damage, such as consequential damage, lost revenue or loss of data. So make regular backups of your website.
These limitations do not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of ipsis.
11. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy statement.
You are responsible for personal data in your own Umbraco. ipsis has no access to it.
12. Changes
ipsis may change these terms. We announce important changes at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using Aivie Content after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of North Holland. [bevestigen]
